VOLUNTEER PROJECT INFORMATION

 We are a small group of friends having provided direct support to approximately 48 disadvantaged young people at CSI-Compassion Girls & Boys Boarding Homes in Erode, Tamil Nadu, India or in various colleges or technical schools in South India. On occasion, we also support projects which might benefit up to 500 children. Along with RPC, coordinators include three young women: Sharmila Amalraj, Vinodhini Somasundaram, and Barathi Jayapal. Also, Stella Rani and Jansi Amalraj in India.

 Our next trip to South India will be December 15, 2011 to January 23, 2012 and will include one of the world's great stone carving centers;  a houseboat trip on the backwaters of the Arabian Sea in Kerala; a weekend  in the Nilgris Mountains tea estates; tours of Indian village life;  and the good part of a week in Hyderabad.  Who wants to join  us? We would love to have one or more of our sponsors share a 2, 3 or 4 week experience with us.
